We welcome enquiries from players of all instruments of the required standard.  While permanent positions in some sections (particularly woodwind) arise only infrequently, there are normally some places for experienced string players. Opportunities for players of woodwind, brass and percussion instruments do occur, for example in concert programmes requiring additional players or to deputise for regular players – so do still get in touch if you would like to be included in our list of occasional guest players. There are currently vacancies for strings, trombones and tuba.

To join the orchestra, you must be of a minimum Grade 8 standard and have relevant experience. The orchestra tackles a wide range of challenging repertoire and aims for as near full attendance at all rehearsals as possible. The orchestra rehearses at 7:20pm on Monday evenings at The Carrington School, Noke Dr, Redhill RH1 4AD, Surrey.
